Abstracto
- The aerial parts of Ayapana elata afforded two new germacranolides. The configuration at C-3 in one of them was the same as that of some bejaranolides, the structures of which therefore have to be revised. Critonia quadrangularis gave in addition to known compounds three elemanolides, a germacranolide, an isodaucane derivative and tremetone derivative. Critonia hebebotrya contained large quantities of known diterpene acids. Koanophyllon pittieri gave two epimeric ent-labdanes. The structures were elucidated by highfield NMR spectroscopy.
