Proposal for the determination of hydrophobicity of acid soils. A simple method is proposed o measure he hydrophobicity of acid soils. It requires he determination of the adsorption isotherms of formic, acetic, propionic and butyric acids. The Freundlich binding parameter is then correlated with the hydrophobicity of R-COOH.
